I-16 Mountain Bike Park

I-16 Mountain Bike Park

Only 25 miles north of Asheville, NC, 26 West Mountain Bike Park is located just off Interstate 26 West at Breakaway Village in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Trails are designed for everyone from beginner, intermidiate to expert. Hardtail, short and long-travel dual suspension bike rentals and lessons are available onsite. Bring your bike or rent ours, either way you’ll enjoy a day of quick chair-lift rides to the top for a day full of descending!

26 West is rider built and rider run. The park’s first construction phase, a naturally contoured trail framework, has been built during the past few months for 26 West’s opening season.

Currently, 7 trails moderately descend the upper mountain. The park’s trail system offers fun and safe terrain for beginner and intermediate riders. Fast and technical trails, full of road gaps and drops dispersed throughout the slopes and woods await advanced riders.

Park Place, the dedicated freeride area midway down the mountain is a hub where trails converge and present riders with freeride stunts, tabletops and doubles.

Big plans for the future of the park will include additional expert-only terrain, located on the lower mountain property.

26 West Trails:

1. Village DH - Black Diamond
2. Park Connector - Black Diamond
3. Yo-B - Intermediate
4. Bunny Slope - Beginner
5. EZ Does It - Beginner
6. Stilzation - Intermediate
